Comparable to Heshun ancient town! Tengchong, Yunnan, found an equally beautiful hometown of overseas Chinese, which has been unknown so far.

As for traveling in Yunnan, most people have been to Kunming, Lijiang, Dali, Xishuangbanna, Shangri-La and other places, but at the border of Yunnan, 2 kilometers away from Myitkyina, Myanmar and 62 kilometers away from Redo, India, there is a small town called Tengchong, which is my personal favorite place.

Tengchong, the first city in Yunnan, is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, a country of literature and a jade distribution center. Almost every passenger who has been to Tengchong will think about going again one day.

Hot volcanic mountains, beihai wetland, Gaoligong Mountain and Heshun Ancient Town ... have attracted many foreign tourists to live in Tengchong because of their comfortable climate, numerous delicacies and profound history and culture.

But maybe you don't know that besides Heshun Ancient Town, there is also an equally beautiful hometown of overseas Chinese-Kirara.

led by local friends, I drove to XiaQiluo Village in Tengyue Town, Tengchong City one afternoon. Kirara, with a history of more than 6 years, has beautiful scenery and simple folk customs.

But few tourists arrive here, because it has not been developed by tourism, and it retains the original flavor of the ancient village.

The Wenchang Palace in Kirara, which was built in 169, was the first thing that caught your eye. Although it has experienced more than 4 years of vicissitudes, the whole building community frame is basically well preserved.

This is a group of architectural communities built by combining Confucian temple regulation with Taoist temple view, which is famous for its grand scale, imposing manner and exquisite craftsmanship.

Kirara ancient town has no tickets, and there are no supporting facilities such as homestays. Wandering in the ancient town of Kirara, the local people live leisurely, as if the outside world has nothing to do with it.

In the corner of a residential building, fireworks are blooming brilliantly. I like this place, so quiet.

When Xu Xiake, a great traveler and geographer in the Ming Dynasty, visited Tengchong, he wrote that "Kirara is ambitious and its village is quite prosperous" and "Bamboo trees are sparse, fields and valleys are staggered, and it is also a secluded cloud." Such as praise Kirara's words.

This shows that hundreds of years ago, Kirara was a beautiful and prosperous village, and its prosperity was closely related to its overseas Chinese history.

The words "Jade leaps out and comes from Kirara" stand out on the white wall.

I went to Kirara Library again. The gate is a traditional wall-facing building, simple and elegant. Unfortunately, this library has not been opened to the public.

According to historical records, the history of Kirara Library is the earliest in Tengchong.

In order to achieve the goal of "* * * rejuvenating the motherland and building a new Kirara", Kirara's overseas Chinese and rural sages founded the Kirara reading room in Tengchong.

Bridges, water, trees, houses, blue bricks, green tiles, double eaves … constitute an idyllic landscape painting.

throughout Kirara, there are "one palace, two temples, and five ancestral halls", and there are also many ancient houses, ancient wells, ancient plaques, and various family halls representing Chinese culture, most of which belong to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

So many cultural relics and historic sites are concentrated in the residential area of Lower Qiluo Village, which is less than one square kilometer. Its high density is rare in China.

Wander around the ancient town of Kirara, meet the conspicuous Duan Jiayu House, and have no time to go in and have a look around.

Tengchong is the birthplace of jadeite processing industry, and jade carving is the first cornerstone of Tengchong's industrial and economic development, with a history of more than 4 years.

Tengchong jadeite processing industry, which started in the middle of Ming Dynasty and flourished in Qing Dynasty, made Tengchong have the reputation of "emerald city". It is said that even the most ordinary woman in Tengchong street may be wearing a few hundred thousand jade bracelets.

Step into Duan Jiayu House, which is a large quadrangle with antique features.

only after the introduction of local friends did I know that this Kirara Duan Jiayu is a century-old brand in Tengchong, ranking first among the four famous jade in Tengchong, and now it is the fifth generation.

I also enjoyed a lot of fine jadeites, learned a lot about the history of Tengchong jadeite and the story of Duan Shengcai, the pioneer of Duanjia Meiyu in Kirara.

"Duan Jiayu" is one of the most famous jades. The raw material of Duan Jiayu bracelet is a unique piece of jade that has been recognized in the jade industry so far.

in the huge exhibition hall, choosing a favorite jade is actually about fate. Looking at these exquisite jade carvings, I only sighed with shame.

A heartbeat, with the permission of her ability, chose a safety button for her mother, hoping that she would be healthy and safe. Buying a piece of jade is a trust in Kirara Duan Jiayu brand and also a trust in a person.

in the courtyard on the first floor, there is also a gambling stone area. A piece of original stone, wrapped with yellow tape, you don't know what's inside, just like buying a blind box.

I left Duan Jiayu, Kirara and went to Shuiying Temple.

This is one of the eight ancient temples in Tengchong. It has a history of nearly 5 years and is one of the well-preserved ancient temples in Tengchong County.

After hundreds of years of wind and rain, Shuiying Temple presents mottled appearance brought by time. It's a pity that I couldn't get into it that day. It's a pity.

It is rare to spend an afternoon wandering around the ancient town of Kirara, thinking that such an original place has not been developed by tourism.

Every time I come to Tengchong, there will be surprises.

My local friends said that I have been to many places where Tengchong locals have never been. For example, Yunfeng Mountain, Harmony Camellia Village, Small Local Village, Palian Art Village, Heiyu River, Gaoligongshan hiking route, Tengchong Yinxing Village, etc., and now there is another one, which is the ancient town of Kirara.
