1 Mobile education model and current research status at home and abroad

As a new education model, mobile education has already attracted much attention around the world. In 1994, Carnegie Mellon University in the United States first started research on mobile learning. Later, due to the widespread use of wireless networks to connect mobile devices such as PDAs, this project can be regarded as the first of its kind in mobile education. Since then, research on mobile education has developed in depth and vigorously in Europe, the United States, Japan and other countries and regions, and has achieved fruitful results in both theoretical and practical fields. The Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education of my country proposed a research notice on the theory and practice of "mobile education" in December 2001. Since then, mobile learning has received widespread attention in the country. However, mobile education is still at a relatively low stage in China, and mobile education has not yet been piloted in universities as a real education model.

Mobile communication technology is of great use as an auxiliary means in daily teaching and management of colleges and universities. Therefore, the author will combine the existing teaching resources of the institution where he works, introduce mobile communication technology, and introduce mobile learning into the daily education and teaching management of colleges and universities. 2 Application of mobile communication technology in various fields of education and teaching

1) Application in mobile learning. Mobile learning is a new learning model. It means that learners can obtain learning resources through handheld mobile devices such as mobile phones and PDAs and wireless communication networks at any time and anywhere they need to learn, and communicate and learn with others.

Currently, the main form of learning in colleges and universities is classroom teaching. Mobile learning can be used as an advanced extracurricular independent learning model for students, and can be an effective way to assist teachers and students in extracurricular learning. When obtaining learning resources, you are not limited by time and location. You can choose the learning resources you need and like to study. These completely depend on students' independent choices, fully reflect students' autonomy and meet students' individual needs. At present, our school's existing independent learning platform mainly accesses resources through the web for independent learning. The platform provides a rich set of teaching resources, including text, audio, video and other types of resources. The existing independent learning platform can be connected to relevant equipment of mobile communication technology and further upgraded into a mobile independent learning platform that allows teachers and students' mobile phones and other handheld mobile terminals to access resources and interact with information, so that during classroom learning It can better consolidate, supplement and expand the learning content through mobile learning. Since mobile learning has the characteristics of mobility, convenience, personalization, interactivity, and the use of handheld mobile devices, most current handheld mobile devices such as mobile phones have limited memory and screen, so full consideration must be taken into consideration when producing mobile learning resources. The characteristics of handheld mobile devices are that they should be easy to display and browse on mobile phones and other devices, take up small storage space, and be easy to operate, etc., to meet the personalized needs of students for learning.

2) Application in mobile OA system. Our school's existing OA system currently only uses the traditional function of publishing information or announcements. This is only a small function of this OA system. The system can also use the current OA system to expand mobile management services. ; Turn on the existing SMS group sending mechanism in the OA system.

In this regard, the Academic Affairs Office can use the system to send invigilation information to the invigilator as a reminder before the exam, so as to avoid unnecessary teaching accidents. Similarly, in this regard, the exam time, exam venue, exam precautions, etc. can also be sent to students through mass text messages as warm reminders, thereby effectively reducing the absenteeism rate.

3 Basic structure of mobile education platform construction

Combined with the existing major management systems of the school, from the application of mobile communication technology in various fields of education and teaching, the construction of mobile education platform mainly It needs to be framed from several aspects. Among them, the international Internet and major information system servers are the main carriers in education and teaching, while the mobile education network is the main medium connecting users and the Internet. The mobile education network connects mobile handheld devices to the Internet through mobile interfaces. Handheld devices such as mobile phones connect and access resources on the mobile education network through wireless access points. Its basic structure is shown in Figure 1.
