My Samsung C7 mobile phone received a short message without any prompt. The SM 1 card is the same as the SM2 card.

If there is no message prompt tone when receiving SMS, it is suggested that:

1. Try to reset SMS: Info-Menu-Settings-Notification Check, and select ringtone.

2. Check whether the phone is turned on in silent mode, and pull down the top curtain to turn the sound green.

3. SMS-Menu button-Settings-Notification-Check.

4. Set the notification volume of the mobile phone (Settings-Sound-Volume-Notification, turn up the notification volume).

5. Try to replace other built-in system ringtones.

6. Please back up the data (contacts, text messages, pictures, etc. ), and then restore the factory settings (Settings-Reset/Privacy/Personal-Restore Factory Settings).

If the problem still exists, please take the purchase invoice, maintenance card and machine to the Samsung service center, and the professional after-sales engineer will help you test it.
