After the earthquake, the Earthquake Administration of Anhui Province quickly launched an earthquake emergency plan. Relevant departments and Hefei Earthquake Administration immediately strengthened the consultation on magnitude monitoring and analysis. The on-site working group of the Provincial Seismological Bureau also rushed to the earthquake area to understand the situation, guide local work, and set up mobile monitoring instruments to closely monitor the development of the earthquake.

After the earthquake, the main leaders of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government attached great importance to it, and assigned relevant responsible comrades of the provincial party Committee and the provincial government to immediately rush to the Provincial Seismological Bureau to participate in the consultation and guide related work. After the expert consultation was confirmed, the provincial government emergency office issued an instruction to the provincial meteorological bureau at the first time, requesting that it be released to the public through the "Anhui Province Public Emergency Early Warning Information Release System" established in the Anhui Meteorological Bureau to stabilize people's hearts.

The early warning information release system of public emergencies in Anhui Province was established by the Anhui provincial government in 2007 relying on the operational system of the Provincial Meteorological Bureau. With the provincial publishing platform as the center, it links the emergency command platform of the State Council and the provincial government, links the provincial 17 municipal sub-centers and county-level publishing platforms, and horizontally connects provincial departments and bureaus and public media. The system consists of SMS receiving, special wireless early warning receiver, TV publishing, cable broadcasting front-end receiving, electronic display screen, public media inquiry, satellite early warning receiver and other subsystems. It is mainly used to timely release early warning information of four kinds of public emergencies, such as natural disasters, accidents, public health incidents and social security incidents, and has played an important role in disaster prevention and mitigation and emergency response.

A team of five people from the Mobile Monitoring Team of the Seismological Bureau of Anhui Province rushed to the site of the Liangyuan earthquake in Feidong to carry out mobile earthquake monitoring. The task of this mobile monitoring is mainly to carry out cross-fault leveling and mobile geomagnetic monitoring for the Dingyuan-Chihe and Wuhe-Nvshan fault zones across Tanlu, providing detailed basic data for earthquake tracking and earthquake prediction. The observation work of the mobile monitoring group is progressing smoothly.
