In recent years, departments at all levels in the province and coal mining enterprises have seriously strengthened the comprehensive control of coal mine gas and achieved certain results. However, there are still some coal mine enterprises whose gas management is not in place, and the phenomenon of gas exceeding the limit occurs from time to time, which poses a great threat to coal mine safety production. For example:

At around 1, 20 19 18, 18, a gas explosion occurred in Ermugou Coal Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ermugou Coal Industry) of Yan Feng Coal Coking Group in Pingyao, Shanxi, causing 15 deaths and 9 injuries.

2. 10, 202012 o'clock on October 20th, a gas explosion accident occurred in the coal mine of Fu Sheng, Zuo Quan, Lu Shanxi An Group. The gas explosion occurred in the closed abandoned open-off cut of 1208 working face in this mine, which produced shock waves and washed away the closed wall. The scattered stones of the closed wall hit the workers outside the closed wall, causing four deaths, 1 person was injured, and the direct economic loss was 1 1.33 million yuan.

In this regard, Shanxi Province has specially formulated and promulgated four measures to further strengthen the prevention and control of coal mine gas, strictly implement the evacuation of gas overrun personnel, analyze the reasons, suspend production for rectification and investigate the responsibilities, continuously enhance the understanding of the hazards of gas overrun, profoundly absorb the lessons of accidents caused by gas overrun, and firmly establish the concept that "gas overrun is an accident". Highlight key points, strengthen management, and resolutely prevent the occurrence of gas overrun. All coal mine enterprises should strengthen the management of safety monitoring system. The location, quantity and type of equipment, facilities and sensors of coal mine safety monitoring system, as well as alarm value, power failure value and re-power value, must comply with relevant regulations.
