The use of China SIM card in Egypt

The mobile phone network in Egypt uses GSM system. China Mobile's SIM card can be used in Egypt, but it needs international roaming.

Global roaming

After the opening of international roaming, the main call in Egypt is 4.99 yuan per minute; Call Chinese mainland 12.99 yuan per minute; Sending SMS to Chinese mainland is 1.39 yuan every minute, and receiving SMS is free. Call other countries or regions 12.99 yuan per minute; Sending short messages from other countries or regions is 2.89 yuan per minute, and receiving short messages is free.

Prepaid SIM card

With prepaid SIM card, you can use your own phone, and you only need to pay the local phone bill. Just change your SIM card to a prepaid SIM card in Egypt, and you can immediately make important calls and send messages to all parts of the world without paying expensive international roaming charges. Please note, however, that your Egyptian SIM card needs a GSM900 compatible mobile phone without SIM card lock. Mobile phones in China generally support GSM 900.
