Why can’t OPPOR9 receive text messages? No one’s text messages can be received. What's going on? What is needed

If you are using an OPPO mobile phone, it is recommended that you conduct the following troubleshooting:

1. If you have not set the other party to be blacklisted or harassed, and you just cannot receive emails from individual people text message, it may be a problem with the other party's mobile phone or network.

2. If you cannot receive text messages from everyone, you can check whether the harassment interception, blacklist, information interception and other functions are turned on on your phone.

(1) ColorOS 11 and above system models: Go to "Information > Upper right corner": "Harassment Interception > Upper right corner": "Interception Rules" to set up.

(2) ColorOS 11 or lower system models: Go to "Settings > Security > Harassment Blocking > Click Blacklist/Information Blocking" to turn off the blacklist and harassment blocking.

(3) Turn off Do Not Disturb: Go to "Settings > (Sound and Vibration) > Do Not Disturb" and click to turn it off.

3. Check whether the SMS center number is set correctly

Please check whether the SMS center number is set normally (only for China Mobile and China Unicom). The setting path is "Open SMS> Three dots in the upper right corner> Settings > Advanced > SMS Center Number" and confirm whether the SMS center number is correct. SMS center numbers vary by operator and region. It is recommended to consult the operator to learn the exact number change and try sending the message again.

4. Confirm whether the mobile phone is in arrears.

5. If you cannot receive text messages in some special areas, it may be caused by poor signal. It is recommended that you try to leave the area for a while, then restart your phone or turn on airplane mode to see if the problem can be solved.

6. Confirm whether the SIM card can be used normally

If you cannot receive text messages in all areas, it is recommended that you try to change the phone or card to test. You can take out the SIM of your mobile phone. Try changing the card to another mobile phone to check whether it is damaged; if not, clean the mobile phone chip and then insert it and test it, or insert an available SIM card from another operator and test it. If it is determined to be a SIM card problem, it is recommended that you contact your operator to resolve it.

If the above cannot solve your problem, it is recommended that you bring the relevant purchase receipt to the OPPO official service center for inspection and processing.
