Zhengzhou Marathon Competition Time

Zhengzhou Marathon will start on April 16, 2023.

According to official website news, the 2023 Ryan Marathon jointly sponsored by Henan Provincial People's Government, Henan Provincial Sports Bureau, Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government and Kaifeng Municipal People's Government will be held in Zhengzhou and Kaifeng on the morning of April 16. The competition is divided into three divisions, namely, Ryan Avenue Division, Beilonghu Division in Zhengdong New District and Kaifeng Little Song Cheng Division.

Among them, the starting point of the full marathon and half marathon projects is the Baisha service area of Ryan Avenue in Zhengdong New District, and the shooting time is 8: 30 am; The end of the whole marathon is Kaifeng Longting Park, and the end of the half marathon is Jianye Huayi Brothers Film Town.

The shooting time of 5km marathon, couple marathon and parent-child marathon is 9: 30am. The starting point and ending point of Zhengzhou Division are in Beilonghu Lake, Zhengdong New District, and the starting point and ending point of Kaifeng Division are in Little Song Cheng.

Geographical features of Zhengzhou and Kaifeng;

Zhengzhou, called Zheng for short, is the capital of Henan Province. It is located in the north of central Henan Province, with the Yellow River in the north, Songshan Mountain in the west and Huanghuai Plain in the east and south, with a total area of 7,446.2 square kilometers. Zhengzhou is located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, and its geographical position is very important. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Henan Province and an important transportation and communication hub of China.

Kaifeng is located in the vast eastern Henan plain, with no mountains, many rivers and lakes, mild climate, abundant rainfall, rich groundwater resources and good natural ecological environment.

Zhengzhou belongs to a typical temperate monsoon humid climate with four distinct seasons, abundant sunshine, mild climate and moderate rainfall. The annual average temperature is about 14℃, and most of the rainfall is concentrated in July, August and September.

Spring and autumn are the best seasons for tourism. Especially in early spring, when the grass grows and the flowers are in full bloom, there is a green ocean beside Ryan Avenue, and the air is very fresh and natural.
