I am a mobile user in China. I can use any mobile phone to receive short messages from PHS, but I can't receive short messages sent to PHS. Why?

First of all, confirm whether the number you sent is correct, because it should be 106+ area code+the other party's number.

Second, the other party's mobile phone has SMS function, and has it handled SMS business?

Third, don't send too long short messages, because the maximum number of words that mobile phones and PHS can receive is different. If the number of words sent by the mobile phone is too large, PHS may receive a whiteboard or garbled message.

If they are not, you can call 1860 and ask them to help you check whether there are any data problems. You'd better ask them to help you track the signal.
