Standard and time of pipeline pressure test

The standard of pipeline pressure test is generally 0.8 air pressure, and the time needs 24 hours.

The hydraulic test pressure should not be lower than 0.80MPa, and the water pressure should be the working pressure of the pipeline. When the working pressure of the pipeline is less than 0.8MPa, the hydraulic test pressure should be 0.8MPa, and the pneumatic test cannot be used instead of the hydraulic test. After the pipeline is filled with water, the exposed connection points that are not backfilled shall be inspected and the leakage shall be eliminated.

The pressure shall be 1.5 times the working pressure, and the minimum pressure shall not be less than 6kg. After the pressure reaches the standard, it needs to be observed for about half an hour. After the pressure drops, standards should be added to ensure that the pressure drop does not exceed 0.5kg within one hour, and there is no leakage problem in the pipeline. Then, the pressure is maintained for about one hour, and the pipeline still does not leak, which is qualified.

Water pipe pressure test steps

1. First of all, the length of the pipeline should be intercepted according to the actual situation, but the maximum length should not exceed 500m.

2. Then, the two ends of the pipeline are equipped with sealing flange plates, the middle of which can be sealed with silicone rubber plates, fixed with bolts and equipped with ball valves. One side of the water pipe is a water outlet, and the other side is a water inlet, which can also be used as an exhaust hole.

3. A pressure gauge should be installed at the water inlet of the water pipe.

4. Under the condition of no pressure, slowly inject water into the pipeline through a press. Note that when filling water, the vent should be opened.

5. After the water pipe is completely filled with water, close the vent hole.

6. While observing the pressure gauge, slowly increase the pipeline pressure to the test pressure standard and keep it for 30 minutes. During this period, if the pressure drops, the pressure can be supplemented by water injection. But not higher than the test pressure standard.

7, check whether there is any leakage in the place such as water pipe joints and fittings. If there is leakage, the pressure test should be stopped immediately, and the reason should be found out to solve the leakage problem. Then the tissue stress test was carried out.
