The background color of WeChat turns black because you have turned on the classic mode of WeChat. You just need to cancel the classic mode to restore the background color.

1. Open my home page on WeChat and click "Settings" below, as shown in the figure:

2. After coming in, select "General" mode, as shown:

3. Click "dark mode" to enter, as shown:

4. Select "Normal Mode" here, and the background color of WeChat will change back to its original appearance, as shown in the figure below:
