As a result, some people have been transferred for no reason. A few days ago, Jiangsu police issued a warning in official website: "Clean Powder" tool actually gave up the control of WeChat, which is no different from hacking. If you encounter such harassment information, you can complain and report it.

Mr. Zhang has hundreds of WeChat friends, but many people hardly chat. A few days ago, one of his long-lost friends posted an advertisement message on WeChat to clean up "zombie fans". He was very moved and wanted to clean up his friend list. So, according to the requirements of the advertisement, Mr. Zhang added a customer service as a friend. Nantong police pointed out that the tools to clean up zombie fans are essentially plug-in software functions developed by some plug-in gangs. These so-called cleaning technologies are actually operated by using WeChat PC or webpage login authorization and plug-in software. The user scans the QR code sent by the customer service, and the customer service automatically logs in to the web version of WeChat, and can operate the user's WeChat at will, which is equivalent to the user authorizing his own WeChat to use, just like WeChat is hacked.

Under normal circumstances, the customer service of these scammers will use scripts to start publishing messages to users' WeChat friends, and clean up "zombie fans" in batches. Then, they will use plug-in software to test who among the friends who received the messages deleted, blacked out or blocked the users' messages, mark them and feed them back to users, and users will manually delete them themselves.

Nantong police analysis pointed out that this kind of "cleaning powder" actually increased the risk of accidents in WeChat accounts: First, after the transfer of WeChat control, personal privacy such as work, identity, contact information, making friends and property information was completely exposed to strangers, and it was also possible to be obtained by a third party through "selling personal information"; Second, it is easy for scammers to use personal relationships to impersonate you to defraud relatives and friends; Third, scammers may use your micro-signal to recommend obscene pornographic information to friends; Fourth, the funds paid by WeChat may be stolen; Fifth, the WeChat account has a clear record of using plug-ins, which may lead to the account being blocked and affect its own use; Sixth, this kind of news will cause harassment to friends.

The police reminded that if the public wants to clean up the WeChat friends list, the safest and most reliable way at present is to build a group manually or send messages to friends one by one.
