The Evolution of Fanggaoping Town

According to legend, in the early Qing Dynasty, a family named Fang Jiaping settled on the hillside next to this road and did some small business. Later, more and more people settled here and gradually formed a market town. Because the market town is located in the flat ground, the terrain is slightly higher than the surrounding area, so it is named Fang Gaoping. Before liberation, Fang Gaoping belonged to the first regional department.
