Classification of high-risk and low-risk areas

According to the "Notice on Further Optimizing the Prevention and Control Measures of COVID-19 Epidemic" issued by National Health Commission, the risk area was adjusted from "high, medium and low" to "high and low" to minimize the number of control personnel.

High risk area

In principle, the areas where infected people live, workplaces and areas with frequent activities and high risk of epidemic spread are designated as high-risk areas. High-risk areas are generally designated by units and buildings, and shall not be expanded at will. In the case that the risk of epidemic spread is unclear or there is widespread community spread, it is necessary to appropriately expand the scope of high-risk areas.

No new infection cases were found in the high-risk area for 5 consecutive days, and it was reduced to the low-risk area.

Low-risk area

Other areas in counties (cities, districts and banners) where high-risk areas are located are classified as low-risk areas.

Reminder: According to the Prevention and Control Plan of novel coronavirus (Ninth Edition), counties (cities, districts and banners) that have not suffered from local epidemics should conscientiously implement various measures for the prevention and control of normalized epidemics, and there is no need to delimit risk areas.
