Why are long SMS messages received separately?

1. If the short message contains more than one Chinese character, all numbers, letters, punctuation marks and spaces are regarded as one Chinese character, and a short message contains at most 70 Chinese characters;

2. If there are no Chinese characters in the short message, you can use numbers, letters, punctuation, spaces, etc. It is one byte, and the maximum short message is 140 bytes.

If the edited SMS content exceeds this number of words, the system will automatically split it when sending it, and multiple messages will be received. General mobile phones can be set to receive long messages.
