The juvenile criminal cases mentioned in these Provisions refer to criminal cases in which the suspects and defendants have reached the age of 14 and/or kloc-0/8 when they commit suspected criminal acts. However, the minors mentioned in the Provisions on the Litigation Rights of Minors and the Protection of Special Procedures for Minors refer to those who have not reached the age of 18 during the litigation period. The people's procuratorate may apply these provisions according to the specific circumstances of the case if the criminal suspect was under the age of 18 when he committed the suspected criminal act and has reached the age of 18 during the proceedings.

Second, how to deal with juvenile offenders?

The Juvenile Delinquency Law is dealt with as follows:

1. Minors who have reached the age of 16 should bear criminal responsibility for breaking the law;

2. Minors who have reached the age of 12 and under the age of 16 violate the law, and they will only bear criminal responsibility if they violate the specific crimes stipulated in Article 17 of the Criminal Law;

3. Minors under the age of twelve violate the law and shall not bear criminal responsibility. Ordering his guardian to discipline or carry out special correction education.
