Short-immersion translation of flower buds of Cymbidium glaucum under joy

The title of the poem "Huanxisha" is "Qingquan Temple with Autumn Water in Huanxisha", and the translation is as follows: at the foot of the mountain, bluegrass shoots into the stream, the path in the pine forest is clean and muddy, and cuckoos crow in the drizzle in the evening. Who says you can't be young when you are old? The running water in front of the door can still rush to the west persistently! Don't worry about sighing old age and feeling the passage of time.

This poem was written by Su Shi, a litterateur in the Song Dynasty. It describes the early spring in the south in the rain, expresses the author's indomitable spirit of self-improvement, and is permeated with an upward attitude towards life. The full text is as follows:

You (qí) water Qingquan Temple, the temple is near Lanxi, and the stream flows west. Under the mountain, the blue buds are short immersed in the stream, and the sand road between the pines is clean and mud-free. It rained at dusk. Who says life can't go back to adolescence? The water in front of the door can also flow west! Don't bemoan the passage of old age!

Extended data

This word was written in the fifth spring of Yuanfeng (1082). At that time, Su Shi was demoted as an assistant minister of Yong ying in Huangzhou (now Huanggang, Hubei) because of Wutai poetry case. This is a great blow to Su Shi's political career, but the word shows an optimistic spirit in adversity.

The first two sentences are about natural scenery. In early spring, bluegrass sprouts by the stream, and the path by the stream is clean and muddy, full of vitality. But it ended with the cuckoo's whine in the drizzle. The sound of sub-rules reminds pedestrians that it is better to go home, which adds a bit of sadness to the scenery.

However, at the turn of the pen, the altar no longer fell into the depression caused by Zigui crying, but cheered up. As the saying goes, "Flowers will bloom again, and people will never be young again." The passage of time, like running water flowing eastward, can't stay. But there are always accidents in the world. "The flowing water in front of the door can still flow westward" is not only a real scene, but also a hidden Buddhist allusion. Dongshui can still go back to the west, so why mourn for the boss in vain?

The whole poem is permeated with an upward attitude towards life. However, the croaking of the last sub-rule vaguely reflects the poet's situation and also shows the commendable attitude in the poem.
