How long can the family members of Shanghai Chongming Fire Squadron stay?

Spouse shall not exceed 45 days, and immediate family members shall not exceed 10 days. According to the Chinese government website.

1. The immediate family members of fire fighting and rescue workers whose family members are not in the unit's resident can come to visit relatives, and generally live in the unit guest house or temporary housing for their family members.

2. The detention time of spouse shall not exceed 45 days, and the detention time of other immediate family members shall not exceed 10 days.

3. If the spouse needs to extend the detention time due to special circumstances, it shall be approved by the chief officer of the unit above the detachment level, but the extension time shall not exceed 15 days.

4. Non-immediate family members of firefighters and rescuers are not allowed to stay in the camp. If it is necessary to stay in the camp for accommodation due to special circumstances, the firefighters shall be approved by the person in charge of the resident squadron level unit, and the cadres shall be approved by the direct leaders.

5. Relatives and friends of fire and rescue workers who are engaged in business and labor activities near the residence of the unit shall not stay in the camp or provide convenience for their business and labor activities.
