Vajrayana, an outstanding Buddhist instrument, is called Vajrayana in Sanskrit, and translated into Riluo, Vajrayana, Pailuo, Tanluo and Vajrayana in Tibetan. Originally one of the weapons of ancient India, it was made of gold, silver, copper and iron. Because it is very hard and can break all kinds of substances, it is called king kong. Later, it was extended to Buddha's wisdom, symbolizing that Buddha's wisdom splits all ignorance like a thunderbolt, which can be used to relieve the troubles and foolish hearts of all beings. Later, it became the object of all Buddhists and the necessary instrument for tantric Buddhism practice. In the tantric tradition, Vajrayana symbolizes bodhicitta which destroys troubles, thus symbolizing the wisdom of the Tathagata Vajrayana and breaking the delusion of evil forces.

Originally used as a weapon, the diamond pestle has a very sharp tip. Later, when it was used in the use of Buddhist tools, its shape had changed greatly. In addition to the above raw materials, there are many materials such as stone, crystal, sandalwood and human bone. The shapes are single, double, three, four, five, nine and so on. Among them, single-strand, three-strand and five-strand are the most common, which symbolizes the unique dharma realm, three secrets, three-body and five buddhas. The common shapes of the diamond pestle are "five pestles", which are called single pestle, three pestles, five pestles, treasure pestle and tower pestle respectively. One-legged pestle is the earliest form, and its front end is quite long. It is held by tantric King Kong Lux, the 40 hands of Guanyin, and one of the 108 arms of King Kong Tibetan Bodhisattva.

Nine-legged pestle is quite common in esoteric religion. Nine shares of diamond pestle, also known as nine cobalt pestle, referred to as nine shares of nine cobalt. The shape of the nine-strand pestle is the same as that of the five-strand pestle, but the number of strands is increased, which is used to represent the eight-leaf and nine-image of the Central Fetal Hospital. This is recorded in the subtle Mahatma Sutra. The Great Sun Sutra explains: Eight leaves refers to the central platform of the First Hospital of Tantric Datura, which is painted with eight petals of lotus, hence the name. When the Tathagata sits in it, () is called Eight Leaves, and the eight leaves in the four directions are respectively matched with four Buddhas, namely, Baosheng, Kaifu Wanghua, Infinite Life, and the thunder sound of the ancient days, and are matched with four Bodhisattvas, including Pu Xian, Manjusri, Guanyin and Maitreya, which are collectively called Nine Buddhas. Nine-legged pestle expresses the above-mentioned realm of Buddhist practice.

Among the tantric gods, there is a King Kong Pani, also known as King Kong Pani, King Kong Pani Medicine Fork General, King Kong Lux, tantric King Kong Pani, tantric Bodhisattva and King Kong Bodhisattva. It originated from the system of Brahmanism in ancient India, and was later included in the Buddhist genealogy. Because it holds the Vajrayana and guards the Buddha, it is called Vajrayana Bodhisattva. This bodhisattva has the vast divine power to eliminate disasters and demons. In the * * * area, it is a very important rain god. Together with Guanyin Bodhisattva and Manjusri Bodhisattva, they are called "three clans with respect", representing three characteristics of "forbearance, compassion and wisdom" respectively, and they are also one of the "Eight Great Bodhisattvas" (Guanyin, Maitreya, Vanity Zang, Pu Xian, King Kong Prajna, Manjusri, Earth Zang and Obstacle Removal). At present, there is an illustration of "King Kong Hand Bodhisattva" in the clay engraving Mahayana Sutra written during Yongle period of Ming Dynasty in the Palace Museum. In the image, Vajrayana Bodhisattva is a protector with two arms and two feet. Her head is slightly tilted, she wears a crown of resentment, her eyes are wide and glaring, her mouth is wide and her teeth are exposed, and her appearance is fierce. Bodhisattva's right hand holds the Vajrayana, which is a remarkable symbol, symbolizing the meaning of "starting from positive wisdom is like Vajrayana, which can break the subtle obstacles of our methods".

In esoteric Buddhism, the instrument corresponding to the Vajrayana is the Vajrayana Bell, which is called Ganta in Sanskrit, Ji Bu and Ziba in Tibetan, and * * * is also called decree and Tibetan order. The shape of a diamond clock consists of a bell handle, a bell body and a bell tongue. The bell handle has the same shape as the diamond pestle, so there are three bells, one bell, four bells and five bells. The clock body is engraved with spells or auspicious patterns. At the outer edge of the bell's opening, there are usually 32 or 64 upright statues of King Kong, representing the "King Kong" who protects the altar, and Tibetan spells representing the Eight Bodhisattvas. In the Buddhist tradition, the golden bell stands for "emptiness", which means to urge all beings to make progress, wake up from their dreams and get rid of the three poisons of greed, anger and delusion. Later, it was used in tantric ceremonies to invite all Buddhists and Bodhisattvas to ring the bell. Lama holds a pestle in his right hand and a bell in his left hand, which is very common, representing both emptiness and wisdom.
