Why does SF Express need an ID card?

This is the new regulation of express delivery industry-express delivery real-name registration system registration, so I need the ID number.

The so-called express real-name registration system means that customers need to show their ID cards when sending express mail. The salesman of the courier company should not only open the package to check and verify the delivered items, but also register and input the information into the computer. Information system is a special software installed by the public security department. The recipient also has to show his ID card to receive the express delivery. The Ministry of Public Security conducted a one-year pilot project in 25 express delivery enterprises in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. The courier salesman working in Shaoxing must sign a letter of commitment before taking up his post to ensure the safety of the object and the accuracy of the sender and recipient information.

The real-name registration system of express delivery affects the economic benefits of express delivery companies. Some salesmen used to pick up more than 60 pieces every day, but only about 40 pieces after their real names, and their business decreased by 20%. The real-name registration system will complicate the sending and receiving process, and once it is inefficient, it will inevitably reduce the turnover. For the already meager profit express delivery industry, it will have to face the double blow of reduced operating income and rising labor costs in the future. At the same time, some consumers worry that privacy will be leaked. In addition, in the process of registration in real-name registration system, courier companies that strictly abide by the rules will be rejected because they require customers to show their ID cards, thus losing customers, while some companies that do not follow the rules will gain more customers.
