What is the Android native ecosystem?
Native Android refers to the most original and pure Android system released by Google, without any modifications by mobile phone manufacturers.
Android is a free and open source operating system based on Linux. Mainly used in mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, it is led and developed by Google and the Open Handset Alliance.
There is no unified Chinese name yet, and more people in mainland China use "Android". The Android operating system was originally developed by Andy Rubin and mainly supports mobile phones. In August 2005, it was acquired and invested by Google.
In November 2007, Google formed the Open Mobile Alliance with 84 hardware manufacturers, software developers and telecom operators to jointly develop and improve the Android system. Google then released the Android source code under the Apache open source license.
Extended information
Android itself is an operating system with separated permissions. In this type of operating system, each application runs with a system identity (Linux user ID and group ID). Each part of the system also uses its own independent identification method. This is how Linux isolates applications from applications and applications from systems.
More security functions of the system are provided through the permission mechanism. Permissions can restrict specific operations of a specific process, and can also restrict access to specific data segments per URI permission.
The core design idea of ??Android security architecture is that under default settings, all applications do not have permission to perform operations that have a greater impact on other applications, systems or users. This includes reading and writing user private data (contacts or emails), reading and writing other application files, accessing the network or preventing device standby, etc.
When installing an application, after checking the permissions mentioned in the program signature and confirming them with the user, the package installer will grant the application permissions. From a user's perspective, an Android application usually requires the following permissions:
Make calls, send SMS or MMS messages, modify/delete content on the SD card, read contact information, and read schedules information, write schedule data, read phone status or identification code, precise (based on GPS) geographical location, fuzzy (based on network acquisition) geographical location, create Bluetooth connection, full access to the Internet, view network status;
Check WiFi status, avoid phone standby, modify global system settings, read synchronization settings, auto-start at boot, restart other applications, terminate running applications, set preference applications, vibration control, and take pictures wait.
