Other scammers pretend to be friends by "cloning" Weibo and send help messages to the victims, asking them to call the airport to help buy tickets. If users believe it and help to buy tickets, they will fall into a serial scam of scammers.

Recently, the Public Security Bureau of a city in Guangxi busted a criminal gang that used "cloning" Weibo as a friend to commit fraud. According to the suspect's account, Liao Moucheng and Liao Mouming pretended to be friends by "cloning" Weibo and sent a distress message to the victim, asking him to call the airport to help buy tickets.

Then another person in the gang, Zhu, pretended to be the ticket manager of the airport, answered the victim's phone and carried out follow-up work such as collecting money and withdrawing money.
