But WeChat and WeChat have as many as 1 billion monthly active users. What about MiLiao? The iOS version of the MiLiao app has not been updated for a year. The development of Internet companies can be said to be a race against time. The continuous pause for a year makes people wonder whether Miliao has been completely abandoned.

But in June this year, Xiaomi announced the resurrection of MiLiao and released a new version. Xiaomi says this is a "new" version, with specific changes: optimizing chat interaction, expanding broadcast content, and adding mini-games.

MIUI comes with the Mi Chat app, but I have uninstalled it a long time ago. Seeing that a "new" version was released, I downloaded it again to try it out. The result surprised me... The layout of this "new" version turned out to be like this:

It's not just layout, it's also very Card. For example, when I scroll down to view the address book list, I can’t scroll. Clicking on the avatar to view friends’ information also got stuck. When I clicked the chat button, there was no response. It was stuck. So I clicked again, and the result told me "MiLiao did not respond."

I thought it was a problem with my phone, but opening WeChat went smoothly. From June to August now, MiLiao has stopped updating again. This so-called "new" version is indeed disappointing. I have dozens of MiLiao friends. Back then, they would still post photos in MiLiao's "Moments", but today it seems that none of them are still "alive".
