Intimidation is threatening others by harming their rights and interests or public interests, which makes them feel fear and panic. Although there is no criminal provision named after the crime of intimidation in the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). But in fact, there are other provisions that impose criminal penalties on threatening behavior, that is, the crime of stirring up trouble in Article 293 of the Criminal Law.
