It has been found that the vast majority of infected people are related to tour groups or self-driving. Potentially risky people have a large cross-regional mobility and involve many provinces. There is a risk of further spread of the epidemic; secondly, they are highly contagious. The virus that caused this epidemic is a Delta mutant strain. The virus sheds a large amount of virus and is highly transmissible. It has a high risk of secondary transmission among exposed people. Changsha County, Yuhua District, and You County of Zhuzhou City in Changsha, our province, have successively reported cases of COVID-19 infection, and the number of residents with red and yellow health codes in Hunan Province has increased sharply. The Hunan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention once again reminds residents that those who have a history of living in Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Shaanxi, Ningxia and other related areas with medium and high risk areas should take the initiative to do the following.

1. Active nucleic acid detection. Persons entering and returning to Hunan from provinces located in high-risk areas must present a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. For those who depart from the province where high-risk areas are located and take inter-provincial flights, high-speed rails, trains, or long-distance buses to arrive at the first destination in our province, our province will check the negative nucleic acid test certificate.

2. Take the initiative to report. Those who have a history of living in cities located in domestic medium- and high-risk areas within 14 days, or those who have entered our province from Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Shaanxi, and Ningxia, please take the initiative to report to your community, work unit, or hotel as soon as possible, and cooperate with the local government. Isolation, nucleic acid testing, health monitoring and other related prevention and control measures.

3. Pay attention to the health code. Please pay close attention to the movement trajectory and health code color of people infected with the new coronavirus announced in various places. Once you find that there is an intersection with the trajectory of the infected person, or your or your family member’s Hunan Province resident health code changes to a red code or a yellow code, etc., please take the initiative to report to the place where you are as soon as possible. Report to the community, workplace or hotel where you are staying, and cooperate with the implementation of relevant prevention and control measures. In principle, people with red electronic health codes for residents in Hunan Province will be quarantined on site, and epidemic prevention and management measures will be taken based on the investigation. Persons with yellow codes should undergo three nucleic acid tests within 7 days. Within 14 days, they can pass in an orderly manner with a valid nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days, but they are not allowed to participate in gathering activities or go to public places and other crowd gathering areas.

4. Plan your trip reasonably. Do not travel across borders unless necessary, and do not travel to provinces with medium- and high-risk areas. Those who have lived in other provinces within the past 14 days must present a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours before entering large indoor tourist venues such as museums and exhibition halls in our province.

5. Adhere to self-health monitoring. Once suspicious symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, sore throat, loss of smell, diarrhea, etc. occur, please wear a mask and go to the fever clinic of a nearby hospital for medical treatment in a timely manner. It is not recommended to take public transportation during the treatment. Proactively report travel history, activity history, and contact history during consultation.

6. Take personal protection. Adhere to scientific and standardized wearing of masks, maintain a safe social distance, do not get together or gather; wash hands frequently, ventilate frequently, eat together less, and use public chopsticks. When entering and leaving public places such as medical institutions, airports, stations, shopping malls, hotels, cinemas, scenic spots, etc., actively comply with epidemic prevention regulations such as temperature measurement, health code and itinerary card verification, and one-meter noodle verification. Minimize visits to relatives and friends, family gatherings, dinners with friends, and personal contact. Strictly control the number of people at private family gatherings.

7. Get vaccinated in time. Vaccination against COVID-19 is the most economical and effective measure to prevent and control COVID-19. It is also the responsibility and obligation of every citizen. Citizens who have not yet been vaccinated, have not completed the full course of vaccination, or are eligible for enhanced immunization are requested to get vaccinated as soon as possible. It is also recommended to receive influenza vaccine and pneumococcal vaccine to effectively reduce the risk of superimposed epidemics of respiratory infectious diseases.
