If foreign relatives or remitters need to remit foreign exchange, they can entrust Bank of Communications to handle it. Just tell the remitter the English name of the local branch of Bank of Communications and the account number or address in Bank of Communications, and the remitter can directly remit foreign exchange to Bank of Communications through the overseas branch or correspondent bank of the local Bank of Communications.

After the money is remitted to Bank of Communications, if you open an account, Bank of Communications will directly transfer the foreign exchange remittance to your account. If you don't open an account with Bank of Communications, Bank of Communications will issue a notice of receipt of foreign exchange remittance, and collect foreign exchange remittance from Bank of Communications with the notice and valid documents. If you are a domestic resident, you must also apply for the declaration of balance of payments statistics in accordance with the requirements of SAFE.
