Did my parents peek at my mobile phone message and forward it, which violated my privacy?

Checking minors' letters, diaries and emails is an act of violating their privacy. The personal privacy of minors is protected by law, and no organization or individual may disclose it. If the privacy of minors is violated, they can complain to the neighborhood committees, police stations and other relevant departments. If it constitutes a violation of public security administration, the public security organ shall give administrative punishment according to law.

Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors

Article 39 No organization or individual may disclose the personal privacy of minors.

No organization or individual may conceal or destroy minors' letters, diaries and emails; No organization or individual may open or consult the letters, diaries and e-mails of minors without legal capacity, except that the public security organs or people's procuratorates conduct inspections according to law in order to trace crimes.

Forty-ninth when the legitimate rights and interests of minors are infringed, the infringed person and his guardian or other organizations and individuals have the right to complain to the relevant departments, and the relevant departments shall promptly deal with them according to law.

Article 69 Anyone who infringes on the privacy of minors and constitutes a violation of public security administration shall be given administrative punishment by the public security organ according to law.
