Step 2: Confirm whether UIM card supports international roaming function.

Use international roaming service

(a) automatic or manual selection of roaming network

When you arrive at the roaming place, the mobile phone will automatically search the currently available network and select the most suitable roaming network to provide you with services.

Under the GSM network, you can also select the network manually. The way to manually select the network is: on the mobile phone, enter the "Network Selection" item in the mobile phone menu and set the "Network Selection Mode" to "Manual Mode"; After searching the network, a list of available networks will be given; You can select a carrier network from this list (please note that the manual network selection operation mode of different mobile phones may be different, please refer to the user manual for details).

4. Precautions:

1) There is no universal international access code for CDMA networks, and the international access codes of different countries and regions and different operators may be different. When you arrive at the roaming place, you will receive a roaming greeting message from China Telecom, which is convenient for you to obtain prompt information such as international access code and dialing method. 2) The universal international access code in the GSM network is "+",that is, when you roam to the GSM network in any country or region, you can use "+"instead of the GSM international access code.

(4) ** 133 dialing mode

When roaming in most countries and regions of GSM network (including WCDMA network), if you need to make a call to Chinese mainland, you can dial ** 133, and you can switch the caller to the called one to make a call to Chinese mainland at a cheaper roaming charge. The specific approach is:

Step one: dial the number.

(2) Call domestic fixed-line telephone: ** 133*86 area code called number # (Example: call Beijing fixed-line telephone 888xxxx, the dialing method is * *133 * 8610888xxxx # (Note: when calling Chinese mainland fixed-line telephone, do not add 0 before the area code.

Step 2: Hang up after seeing the message prompt.

After dialing, "OK, please wait a moment" will be displayed on the phone screen. Please hang up after seeing the prompt and wait for the system to call back.

Step 3: The system calls back and calls.

About 30 seconds after hanging up, your mobile phone will receive a callback prompt from the system, showing the number you are calling, and you can talk to the other party after connecting.

(5) SMS sending mode

1. If you send a short message to a mobile phone number in Chinese mainland (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), please directly enter the other party's mobile phone number (for example, users who send 1898888xxxx need to enter189888xxxx).
