Why is the anime "Moonlight So Beautiful" so touching?

This anime is restrained and youthful. There are not many complaints and jokes. These are almost contributed by teachers, gay CPs and other supporting characters. There are no fierce dramatic conflicts and no indifference to the occasion. The place is sweet, but the characters are real, and the story is tense but not fully expressed, leaving plenty of room for imagination. The title of each episode is taken from the author's book title, which also adds a bit of bookishness.
