How to create origami effect in PS

Methods/Steps

First, create a new document and fill it with white , the size is based on your own needs

Then create a new layer, select the "Horizontal Text Tool", and enter text

The font is more important here. It is more appropriate to choose an angular font to reduce the amount of text behind. Processing, saving time

Convert the text layer into a shape, select the "Direct Selection Tool", click on the words and dots will appear, drag these Click to change the shape of the characters and deform them appropriately. Different characters have different methods

After converting all the characters, then rasterize the text layer

Create a new layer , use the "Rectangular Marquee Tool" to select the place where you need to add a shadow,

Use the gradient tool to pull out the effect (set the foreground color to black, the mode to foreground color to transparent gradient, modify the opacity )

Be patient, it’s done

Go back to the text layer, hold down Ctrl, click on the text layer, the text part will be selected, then invert the selection and return to the shadow layer , press the "Delect" key to delete the shadow outside the words, ok, it's basically completed

Finally adjust the light perception, and use the polygonal lasso to turn the 90-degree corners into 45 degrees.
