Synchronization of Microsoft mailbox

WP8 SDK We learned some information about the backup settings of Windows Phone 8. Until now, I still can't know the exact working mode of SMS, picture and backup. According to sources familiar with Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 plan, the backup function that Microsoft will provide to Windows Phone users needs to log in with a Microsoft account.

When running a Windows Phone 8 device for the first time, the startup screen will suggest users to use a Microsoft account (similar to Windows Phone 7) for data synchronization. However, the new splash screen will provide more synchronization options, including pictures, contacts, music, documents and more synchronization with PC or Xbox. It is impossible to determine the synchronization plan of Xbox, but Microsoft will provide Windows Phone users with more convenient data sharing with Xbox game consoles through SkyDrive.

Backup options in Windows Phone8 will include automatically uploading pictures and videos to SkyDrive, synchronizing SMS and MMS to Hotmail or Outlook mailbox, and synchronizing settings such as themes, accounts and IE favorites. Synchronization of the application list and personalized application settings is also part of a regular backup.
