History of China Swimming Association

Member of All-China Sports Federation. Established on 1956. Headquartered in Beijing. The first chairman, Li Menghua. Jurisdiction over swimming, synchronized swimming, diving and water polo. The highest authority is the National Committee, the Standing Committee is the executive body, and the secretariat is responsible for daily work. There are professional committees for coaches, scientific research, referees, children's training guidance, long-distance swimming, elderly swimming, winter swimming, lifesaving and so on. Zhang Xirang was the chairman of the Swimming Association and the vice chairman of the Asian Swimming Federation. 1952 In April, the International Swimming Federation recognized China as a member. 1958 broke off relations with FINA in order to oppose the attempt of "two China". 1July, 980, FIA resumed the legal seat of China Swimming Association. China Swimming Association often holds national spring swimming regionals, national indoor short-course swimming competitions for children's age groups, national swimming championships, national swimming summer regionals, national swimming championships for children's age groups, national synchronized swimming championships, national synchronized swimming championships, national diving championships, national water polo championships and national youth water polo competitions.

China tourism association has organized referees, coaches and researchers to participate in various academic activities for many times, and often publicized the knowledge and achievements of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming through newspapers, radio stations and television stations, assisted the State Sports Commission in organizing various competitions, revised and approved various competition rules and referee laws, assessed national referees, and formed a national team to participate in international competitions. China tourism association was founded in 1956, and its current chairman is Zhang Xirang.
