Introduction and use of Zabbix

Zabbix is an enterprise-level solution, which provides distributed monitoring and network monitoring functions based on web interface.

It can monitor all kinds of network parameters, ensure the safe operation of the service system, and inform the administrator to locate and solve the problem quickly.

Zabbix consists of two parts, Zabbix server and Zabbix agent. The server provides monitoring and data collection for remote servers through SNMP, proxy, ping and port monitoring, and can run on platforms such as Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and OS X.

The Zabbix agent needs to be installed on the monitored target server, and it mainly collects hardware information or information related to the operating system such as memory and CPU. Zabbix agent can run on Linux, Solaris, HP -UX, AIX, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, OSX, Tru64/OSF 1, Windows NT 4.0, Windows (2000/2003/XP/Vista) and other systems.

The server can independently monitor the state of the server, and at the same time, it can cooperate with the agent, train the agent to receive the monitored data in turn, or passively accept the data sent by the agent.
