Starting from now, a total of 2,206 units of some imported Audi A8L series cars with production dates marked between January 7, 2022 and February 22, 2022 will be recalled.

Due to production reasons for the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the information on the production date on the vehicle nameplate and vehicle-related documents is inconsistent with the information indicating the model year in the vehicle identification code VIN. FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. will entrust FAW Audi franchised dealers to replace the nameplates and related vehicle documents of the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge. For already registered vehicles, we will also assist users in replacing new motor vehicle registration certificates.

FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. will notify car owners through registered mail, SMS, etc. FAW Audi franchised dealers will also proactively contact relevant users to arrange recall repairs.
