Apple's iOS 17 version of the notification ringtone was changed from the original "tritone" to "echo".

In the iOS 17 version, Apple added 26 brand-new ringtones and 10 short messages. Users can freely change their favorite iPhone ringtones, short messages, calendar reminders, incoming calls from new emails, etc. in "Touch" in "Settings".

However, after updating to the version of iOS 17, many iPhone users found that the default notification sound of iOS 17 was different, and the notification ringtone changed from "tritone" to "echo" because Apple changed the notification ringtone for iOS 17.

This change has also caused many users to complain that the new "Echo" prompt sound is too quiet and the sound is not bright, because the original "tritone" is a relatively loud jingle, and "Echo" is a combination of two relatively quiet notes, so that some key notices are missed. Unfortunately, however, the default notification ringtone for iOS 17 cannot be changed. At present, you can only change the App-related prompt sounds that come with the system, such as ringtones, message sounds, calendar reminders, and new mail receipt sounds. However, other third-party APPs don't support modifying notification ringtones, and they all rely on the default notification ringtones, so users may hear many app notification ringtones become the latest "echo" sound.

Other changes in Apple's iOS 17 version:

1. The screen lock interface adds two key functions, namely, freely adjusting the digital thickness of the screen lock clock and standby mode. Long press the lock screen interface, and iOS 17 can also enter the custom mode. Apple modified the clock text of iOS 16, which was vomited by many users, allowing users to adjust the thickness freely, while the customization options of color and style were also retained.

Standby clock is a new function of iOS 17. This mode can be activated when the mobile phone is placed horizontally in any position when it is charged. In fact, this is a locked screen clock desktop in dark mode. Although widgets can be customized, there are not many optional parts.

2. When the screen is used, iOS 17 has added the function of "vision health". When the user is too close to the screen when using the mobile phone, a full-screen reminder will pop up. The "health" function supports recording the mood state, and sends out three notifications regularly every day, so users can record the mood at this moment or today.

3. There are some minor adjustments in IOS17, such as "Siri voice wake-up", "text correction" and "gallery content recognition".
