2. Eid al-Adha, called Eid al-Adha in Arabic. Eid al-Adha, or Eid al-Fitr. Azuha. Del means festival, while Courbon and Azuha both mean sacrifice and dedication.

It is said that Ibrahim, the ancestor of the ancient Arabs, was inspired by Allah, the God of Islam, and wanted to slaughter his son Ismail Leyi to show his piety to Allah. At the moment when Ibrahim raised his knife to pay tribute to his order, Allah sent a special envoy with a sheep and ordered the sheep to be slaughtered instead of offering his son. Since then, the custom of annual sacrifice has been formed among the Arab people. After the emergence of Islam, the Prophet Ibrahim was recognized as the Holy Father, and the Islamic calendar and the tenth day of the twelfth lunar month were designated as "Eid al-Adha". Before the festival, every Muslim family is clean. All Muslims who have the ability to slaughter sheep, camels or cows during the festival, distribute them to the poor, receive visitors and compensate relatives and friends.

3. "Eid al-Adha" is generally on the seventieth day after "Eid al-Fitr" (i.e. 65438+ 10 in January), which is a traditional festival of Hui people who believe in Islam. Hui people in China also call "Eid al-Adha" as "Loyalty and Filial Piety Festival".

On the morning of the festival, people dressed up and went to the mosque to attend the ceremony, led by the imam, and bowed down in the direction of Mecca. Ah Xun preached the relevant scriptures, and everyone said "eyes" to each other. In festivals, besides attending ceremonies and frying oil, we also slaughter cattle and sheep and make exquisite food. You can also visit relatives and friends and carry out various cultural and recreational activities. The festive atmosphere is very strong.
