BMW sends the electronic key and receives the code.

You can install and activate the BMW digital key in the iPhone on the premise that both the mobile phone and the vehicle support this function. At present, there are two ways to activate BMW digital key: SMS link and BMW application.

1, SMS link mode: After the successful opening of the BMW digital key service, you will receive a short message about the BMW digital key from BMW China, and you can see the options of the digital key in the "Door/Key" menu of the locomotive. For safety reasons, please bring two car keys into the car to prove that you are the owner. When the engine is not started, click the link in the short message according to the prompt. Continue to place the phone on the wireless charging pad/smartphone tray according to the prompts in the new window, and the pairing activation will be completed automatically. If the page for entering the matching code (verification code) appears on the mobile phone, please enter the 8-digit matching code (verification code) in the short message for verification.

2. BMW application mode: open and log in to BMW Cloud Internet application (you need to use BMW Cloud Internet iOS 10. Version 7 and above), select the digital key entry guide, bring two car keys into the car, and activate them according to the prompt while keeping the engine from starting. After the installation activation is completed, the BMW digital key will appear in the Apple Wallet application.
