Peng Pai, who was baptized in the May 4th Movement, gradually abandoned the old saying of China that "everything is inferior, only reading is high", and deeply realized the sacred power of workers and its important role in the China revolution. He devoted himself wholeheartedly to the agricultural and industrial movements.

1924, at the suggestion of Peng Pai, Guangdong established a peasant movement workshop. He often went deep into the broad masses of peasants, taught them revolutionary truth in simple language and guided the peasant movement. During this period, Peng Pai wrote the earliest book "Haifeng Peasant Movement Report" which expounded the peasant movement from the perspective of combining theory with practice in the history of our party.
