Adjust the pre-boarding inspection measures for New Zealand personnel going to China from May 23rd, 2022.

Recently, many countries in the world have relaxed many entry restrictions, and some countries and regions have directly cancelled entry restrictions. Although foreign entry restrictions have been relaxed, our country still has entry restrictions. Recently, however, the China Embassy in New Zealand decided to adjust the pre-boarding inspection measures for New Zealand personnel in China.

According to the epidemic situation and the variation characteristics of COVID-19 epidemic, the Embassy and Consulate of China in New Zealand decided to make the following adjustments to the pre-boarding inspection measures for New Zealand personnel in China from May 23, 2022:

1. Cancel all applicants' sera (IgM antibody test (containing N protein test). All passengers from New China, whether vaccinated or not, are tested for "double nucleic acid monitoring antigen" (the detection method for children under 5 years old remains unchanged.

Two, cancel the history of infection (COVID-19 has been diagnosed or nucleic acid test results positive) for lung CT or X-ray examination requirements.

3. Cancel the quarantine requirements for the crew after landing 14 days, and the newly landed crew can be tested according to the requirements of ordinary people going to China and apply for a health code.

At present, the global epidemic situation is still very grim, and the risk of cross-infection in international travel still exists. The Embassy and Consulate of China in New Zealand once again reminds everyone to continue to adhere to the principle of "non-essential, non-emergency, no travel" and try to avoid long-distance or cross-border travel.

For those who really need to go to China in the near future, please pay close attention to the policy adjustment and make proper arrangements for their trips to avoid unnecessary economic losses. Personnel going to China must strictly implement personal protection before and during the trip, and do self-health monitoring before the trip to avoid being stranded due to positive test before boarding or input after entry.
