I see many friends asking me what to do if I can't activate imessge. To this end, I searched many methods and contacted Apple's official customer service. I just suggested restoring it, but I tried to restore it a long time ago, but it didn't help. If your mobile phone can't send SMS, then it can't be activated, which is why I will talk about it below.

To activate imessage, you need to send a short message for verification. Our mobile phone can't send text messages, of course, it can't be activated. Enter *#5005*7672# in the dialing interface, and then press the dial key.

You can see the query results of the pop-up SMS center number. My initial number is 0, which means that the SMS center number has not been set.

Next, we enter *5005*7672* SMS center number #. You can search all regions and operators yourself, and there will be a list. I'm from Hunan Unicom, and the number is+8613010731500. Then press the dial key to make a call.

You can see that the number of the SMS center has been set successfully, but it has not yet taken effect, showing that there is no address.

We will restart the phone.

After the restart, imessage has been activated.
