Job responsibilities Over the past 60 years, with the rapid development of hospitals, departments have developed from scratch, from weak to strong, and gradually developed. The department has carried out various operations in the field of otorhinolaryngology, especially hearing reconstruction, total laryngectomy and vocal cord reconstruction, vocal cord amputation of bilateral vocal cord abduction paralysis, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, and the treatment of sound and sound diseases.

1986 The speech reconstruction of tracheoesophageal flap after total laryngectomy was carried out for the first time in the province.

1996, taking the lead in developing a new technology of semiconductor laser treatment of otorhinolaryngology diseases in the whole province.

From 65438 to 0997, on the basis of the original development of the department, in order to find a new breakthrough, we chose the field of otorhinolaryngology allergy, which was not deeply studied in the province at that time, and the incidence rate was on the rise due to environmental factors. Introduced the internationally advanced Famassia serum allergy diagnostic instrument at that time. This project fills the gap in the province, changes the situation that allergy diagnosis only relies on invasive detection in the past, and creates a method of non-invasive diagnosis of allergic diseases and in vitro allergen detection. It provides a new choice for the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases. Based on this, our department has carried out a lot of research work on allergic diseases, including a comparative study on the positive rate of serum-specific IgE and allergen skin test; Study on the relationship between nasal polyps and allergic reactions: the effect of antihistamines on allergic rhinitis: the effect of local application of nasal spray hormone. At present, the department's research in this field has a leading level in the province. Chief physician Wang has become one of the experts in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases recognized by colleagues in the province. Since 1997, he has been invited to participate in international and domestic allergy academic conferences for many times.

In the same year, an allergy clinic was established in this department. As the chief physician of this clinic, Dr. Xu Yingying has achieved good results in the diagnosis and immunotherapy of allergic rhinitis.

The department of 65438-0999 set up a snoring clinic, followed by Dr. Pan Wei and Dr. Zhou Shuihong, and made comprehensive diagnosis and surgical treatment for patients with snoring and sleep apnea hypopnea, and achieved good results.

At the beginning of 2002, the advanced otoacoustic emission instrument was newly introduced, which enabled the department to complete the hearing detection equipment consisting of advanced hearing instruments such as full-function audiometer, acoustic impedance meter, auditory brainstem evoked potential and otoacoustic emission, creating better conditions for the clinical and scientific research work of otology.

In 2002, China successfully performed unilateral vocal cord amputation for the first time to treat abducent paralysis of bilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve.

In 2007, as a multi-center cooperative unit, I participated in the important topic of the 11th Five-Year Plan "Study on Standardized Diagnosis and Prevention Strategies of Allergic Rhinitis", and as the responsible unit, I undertook two sub-topics "Diagnosis and Operation Norms of Allergic Rhinitis"&"Correlation Study of Various Examination Methods".

The Student Status Department has successively won several projects such as the Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Provincial Education Commission, the Provincial Health Department and the Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Published dozens of academic papers in SCI journals and domestic core professional journals.

The department is currently the chairman of the Otolaryngology Society of Zhejiang Medical Association. Chief physician Wang is a member of the Chinese Medical Association's Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Branch, the chairman of the Zhejiang Medical Association's Otolaryngology Branch, the executive director of the Zhejiang Medical Association, and the editorial board of more than ten major domestic comprehensive journals such as Chinese Journal of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Director Lin Shan is the subject member and secretary general of the Otolaryngology Society of Zhejiang Medical Association. Director Zhou Shuihong is a young member of the Otolaryngology Society of Zhejiang Medical Association.

At present, this department is a key medical discipline in Zhejiang Province, and also a master's degree in Otolaryngology. Complete a large number of clinical teaching (including seven-year program, undergraduate and junior college) and the training of senior doctors. It plays a guiding role in the development of otolaryngology in this province.

The otology department is equipped with several imported surgical microscopes and high-speed surgical drills, which is enough to ensure the surgical treatment of various otology diseases. The nasal department is equipped with a nasal endoscope and a power system to ensure the development of functional nasal surgery, preserve the normal physiological function of the nose to the greatest extent and reduce recurrence. Various kinds of partial laryngectomy with preserved laryngeal function were carried out in the Department of Laryngology, so that the operation can not only eradicate the focus but also preserve the vocal function to the maximum extent, and improve the quality of life of patients after operation. The research project of "Total Laryngectomy and Reconstruction of Tracheoesophageal Flap" won the third prize of medical scientific and technological progress in 1998 and the provincial scientific and technological progress Excellence Award, which provided an effective method for the recovery of language function of patients with total laryngectomy. In recent years, for the dyspnea caused by bilateral vocal cord paralysis caused by various reasons, the first unilateral vocal cord amputation has achieved good results, which not only solved the dyspnea, but also preserved good vocal quality. This achievement won the third prize of Zhejiang Medical and Health Science and Technology Progress Award and the third prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award. Early foreign body removal in lower respiratory tract under general anesthesia in our province has obviously improved the success rate and safety of foreign body removal in children's respiratory tract.

In recent years, in order to keep up with the international practice, this discipline has gradually developed towards otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery. The scope of subject diagnosis and treatment is expanding year by year. In the past, many head and neck diseases that did not belong to the undergraduate category have also been carried out one after another, broadening the professional field and making great progress.

1. After 10 years of painstaking research, the vocal reconstruction project after total laryngectomy, led by Director and Director Wang, was completed, and passed the appraisal successfully. In 1998, it won the third prize of Zhejiang Medical and Health Science and Technology Progress Award and the Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Excellence Award. This achievement has been applied to clinical practice so far, which has greatly improved the quality of life of patients with laryngeal cancer after operation and produced great social and economic benefits.

2. Since 2000, the treatment of bilateral vocal cord abduction paralysis has been explored. After three years of hard work, under the auspices of Director Wang, a brand-new surgical method of "unilateral vocal cord abduction paralysis amputation" has been successfully established. This method not only solves the dyspnea caused by bilateral vocal cord abduction paralysis caused by various reasons, but also gives good consideration to the voice quality of patients. This surgical method is simpler than all the previous methods to treat this disease. In June, 2002, this achievement was appraised by an expert group composed of 3 doctoral supervisors and 4 master supervisors from Second Military Medical University, Sun Yat-sen Medical University and Shanghai Second Medical University. The conclusion is that this operation is the first in China and occupies the leading level in China.
