Is SMS banking the same as SMS notification? What's the difference?

SMS banking is different from SMS notification. Short message banking refers to that customers actively send fixed-format short messages to the short message platform of the bank, and can handle the corresponding business; SMS notification means that the bank SMS platform sends a fixed format message to the customer to inform the customer that the account balance has changed.
