Be careful not to install ETC equipment in a black area or a place covered with metal film, which is not conducive to the solar panel on the back to receive sunlight and ETC signal reception/emission.

3. Face the front of the ETC card to the driver and the back to the front glass. Insert the chip into the OBU device, and then turn on the Bluetooth function of the OBU device by plugging and unplugging the ETC card twice continuously. The words "Bluetooth on" will be displayed on the screen, and the opening time will be about 2 minutes. Please complete the connection operation.

4. Turn on the mobile phone, turn on Bluetooth so that everyone can see it, open the Guangdong Bao Tong app applet (please download the corresponding mobile app according to the brand of the electronic tag, generally download the QR code on the electronic tag), and click to enter the device activation interface.

5. Click "Device Connection" again and select the device model to be connected. Some Bluetooth connections need a pairing password, and the initial password is 0000 or 1234. Wait patiently for the prompt of "Connection successful".

6. Complete the relevant verification operations according to the prompts, fill in the corresponding personal and vehicle information, upload the photos of the vehicle front and equipment installation and submit them for review. Generally, you will receive a text message within 3-5 working days after approval, and you can use it normally.

7. Regarding how to determine whether etc is activated, the first one is to receive a reminder of successful activation by SMS, the second one is to try the above activation steps again, and a reminder of "activated" will be displayed when submitting for approval, and the third one is that inserting ETC card into ETC equipment will display vehicle information or account balance, indicating that ETC is activated successfully.

Invalid ETC label:

Dismantling or loosening the etc device by itself may cause the label to fail, or blocking the ETC button with glue may also cause the device to fail.
