As we all know, there is no Google GMS framework for domestic Android phones, so Android applications must stay in the background of the system if they want to push messages in time. For example, two applications, WeChat and QQ, can't push WeChat and QQ messages in time if you forbid them to start from the background. However, if every application occupies the background of the system to push messages, then the system resources will be seriously occupied, which will lead to the system being stuck. Moreover, the background application will constantly wake up the CPU, resulting in the mobile phone always being active, which will increase power consumption and seriously affect battery life.

This "unified push alliance" has established a unified push standard, and its purpose is to replace Google's GMS framework, so that common applications such as WeChat and QQ are no longer the mainstream Android system background. When they need to push messages, they can directly push related messages at the system level of Android phones by taking a unified channel interface.

At present, the relevant standards of "unified push alliance" have been determined, and then it is necessary for mobile phone manufacturers to build a push interface that meets the standards in the mobile phone system to realize unified message push. However, to achieve the "unified push" of Android mobile phone applications, it is not enough to rely solely on the support of mobile phone manufacturers, but also the support of mainstream application developers. If Tencent and Ali's mainstream applications such as WeChat, QQ, Taobao and Alipay can take the lead in accessing the unified push standard, it will greatly promote the popularization of this standard.

On the contrary, if the application software commonly used by mobile phone users does not support a unified push standard, this standard has no practical significance. This year, due to the trade friction between China and the United States, Google has stopped providing Huawei with the latest Android license. Although only Huawei was affected, it also sounded the alarm for the entire mobile phone industry.

We should realize that it is very dangerous to be controlled by others in the field of mobile phone system. Once the other party "cuts off the supply", the enterprise may lose the market that was hard to establish. Therefore, establishing a unified message push mechanism is only the first step. In the future, mobile phone manufacturers and application developers still need to build their own domestic mobile phone operating systems, so as to build a healthy mobile Internet ecological environment.
