Pinghu Subdistrict is located in the north-central part of Shenzhen, at the junction of Shenzhen-Dongguan City and Longgang-Longhua District. (3) The space expansion has great potential. The building density in the built-up area of ??Pinghu is not high, and the cost of secondary development is low. There are existing square kilometer-level land preparation projects such as the Luoshan land parcel (1.357 million square meters), the second and third phases of the Fucheng'ao Financial Base (1.41 million square meters), and the Pinghu Ecological Park (1.32 million square meters). The film industry space has great potential to be tapped. There are 48 updated units, 28 of which have been approved. After completion, all projects are expected to provide residential buildings (including affordable housing and resettlement housing) with a construction area of ??approximately 11.37 million square meters, and industrial housing construction area of ??approximately 4.5 million square meters. The newly-built Shouzhen Primary School and Pinghu Second Experimental School successfully completed autumn enrollment, the first phase of the renovation and expansion project of Pinghu Central Primary School was successfully delivered, the renovation and expansion project of Xinde School, and the construction project of Pinghu School Affiliated to South China Normal University were carried out in an orderly manner.

There are currently 3 general hospitals including the Fifth People's Hospital of Longgang District, Huaqiao Hospital, and South China Hospital Affiliated to Shenzhen University. (5) Rich historical and cultural heritage. Compiled and published local historical documents such as "Speaking of Pinghu" and "Centennial Pinghu Book Series". Shanxia Community was the first place where the revolutionary fire was sown in Shenzhen. Shenzhen's first village-level party branch was established in 1926; the Shanxia Revolutionary Martyrs Monument was built in 1984, with Wang Zuoyao, deputy commander of the Dongjiang Column, personally inscribing it; the Shanxia Revolutionary Historical Memorial Hall was built in 1984. It opened in December 2009 and was selected as the Shenzhen Communist Party of China Party History Education Base in August 2014. Liu Zhubo, a sage from Pinghu Township, was a famous patriot during the Republic of China. In 2017, "The Biography of Liu Zhubo" and "Collected Works of Liu Zhubo" were released. The life exhibition of Liu Zhubo in Fenghuang Mountain was completed and opened in 2018.
