Network speed of Antarctic scientific research station

The following year, China Unicom also opened base stations at Zhongshan Station and Great Wall Station, allowing Antarctic researchers not only to make phone calls and send text messages, but also to surf the Internet and even have video communication with family and colleagues. Before the opening of mobile communication, there was only one satellite channel with a bandwidth of 1M between China Antarctic Zhongshan Scientific Research Station and the outside world. More than 50 expedition members can only contact China by maritime satellite phone, which is unstable and expensive, and can only be used for important work communication.
