Jilin University is a national key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. The school was founded in 1946. After restructuring in 1952, it became the first comprehensive university founded by the Communist Party of China after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
