Visa processing procedures for Korean students to invite their parents to Korea

1. First of all, you have a D2 study visa.

2. Register for one semester.

3. Write a statement on the reasons for inviting parents, which shall be sealed by the department in charge of international students affairs of the school. There is no clear format for this thing. Half a page is enough, but it should include the purpose of coming to Korea, the statement that I will abide by the law during my stay in Korea and return to China on time.

4. Visa issuance application (i.e. anti-visa application). There is a format on Http://www.immigration.go.kr/. You can refer to it, prepare it in advance, and then go to the entry-exit administration department to formally fill it out.

5. Student preparation materials: school certificate, report card (from last semester) and attendance certificate.

6. Preparation of people invited from afar: household registration book, ID card, passport (preferably original), photo of certificate, photo of them and you, and proof of kinship (fairness).

7. Fill in the form at the Exit-Entry Administration Office and submit it. Many people apply for similar visas. They are not very strict when accepting. They just copy the documents you submitted and simply ask you questions. Then they give you an acceptance card with a phone number and website on it for easy inquiry.

8. Wait. Usually 1, half a month to two months.

9. SMS notification. Or email, give you the anti-visa number.

10. Apply for a visa in China. After coming to Korea, the length of stay depends on you. They can take it with them when you graduate. When your visa is extended, theirs will be extended.
