How to delete applets

The applet is a lightweight application that can run on platforms such as WeChat and Alipay without downloading and installing. However, if you no longer need a small program, or want to free up the storage space of your mobile phone, you can consider removing it. Here are the specific steps.

Method 1: Wechat removes the applet.

Open WeChat and enter the "Discovery" page.

Click the applet option.

Find the applet that needs to be deleted and press and hold the applet icon.

In the pop-up menu, select Delete.

Click OK to finish deleting the applet.

Method 2: Remove the applet from Alipay.

Open Alipay and enter the "My" page.

Click the "Alipay Home" option.

Find the applet that needs to be deleted and press and hold the applet icon.

In the pop-up menu, select Delete.

Click OK to finish deleting the applet.

Matters needing attention

Removing applets will not affect your account information and data.

After removing the applet, you need to search or scan the QR code again to use the applet.

If you delete the applet by mistake, you can search again or scan the QR code to add it again.

If you don't want to use a small program but don't want to delete it, you can try to disable it.

If you encounter problems when using the applet, you can try to restart WeChat or Alipay, or contact the developer of the applet.
