What does it mean when it is cold and rainy, and there is no dust and no mud in Jiumo?

The chill hit the clothes I was carrying, and the drizzle soaked my clothes. Walking on Jiutiao Street, there is not a trace of dust or mud. ?

It’s still the same as usual, slowly hanging my whip sleeves to cross the street. The same feeling as usual, I slowly picked up the steps and crossed the west side of the street. On the way to the banquet, the poet felt a hint of nervousness and anticipation of attending the banquet for the first time. ?

The poem expresses the poet's mood when attending the banquet for the first time. Living in slightly cold weather and drizzle, the poet walked along the dust-free street without any mud. The poet felt a common feeling and walked slowly across the street.

From Han Xie's "The Collection of First Arrivals".

Han Xie (842 AD to 923 AD). Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty. His nickname was Donglang, his courtesy name was Zhiguang, his nickname was Zhiyao, and in his later years he was also called Yushan Woodcutter. A native of Wannian County, Shaanxi Province (now Fanchuan). He was smart and studious since he was a child. When he was 10 years old, he composed an impromptu poem for his uncle Li Shangyin, which shocked everyone. Li Shangyin praised his poem as "a young phoenix is ??as clear as an old phoenix."

In the first year of the Dragon Age (889), Han Jiezhong was a Jinshi. He first served in the Jiedushi shogunate in Hezhong Town. Later, he entered the court and served as Zuo Shiyi, Zuo Jianyi, deputy envoy Duzhi, and Hanlin bachelor.

Life

In the third year of Guanghua (900), the eunuch leader Liu Jishu, the lieutenant of the Shence Army, launched a palace coup, deposed Zhaozong, and established Prince Li Yu as emperor. Han Xie assisted Prime Minister Cui Yin in quelling the rebellion and welcomed Zhaozong's restoration. He became one of the heroes and served as Zhongshusheren. He was highly regarded by Zhaozong and tried to establish him as prime minister many times, but was rejected. Li Jizhao, a subordinate of Zhongshu's Tongping Zhangshi, relied on the eunuch leader Han Quanhui and squeezed out Cui Yin. Cui Yin summoned Fengxiang Jiedushi Li Maozhen to join the court in order to suppress the eunuch group.

After Li Maozhen entered the court, he supported his troops and became domineering. Cui Yin also wanted to summon Zhu Quanzhong, the Jiedu envoy of Xuanwu Town, to enter the court to contain Li Maozhen. Han Jie remonstrated: This caused "the two towns to fight against each other and the imperial court was in danger." Li Maozhen should be dismissed while dealing with the eunuchs. Before the discussion was carried out, Li Maozhen and Han Quanjie had already robbed Zhaozong and sent him to Fengxiang.

When Han Xie heard the news, he rushed to Fengxiangxingzai at night and burst into tears when he saw Zhaozong. Emperor Zhaozong appointed Han Xi as Minister of War. Later, Zhu Quanzhong's troops arrived, defeated Li Maozhen, and killed Han Quanjie. Han Xie returned to Chang'an with Zhaozong.
